Basic SOW Resources…SOW I: 6th-12th

Resources recommended for SOW I:6th-12th…

The SOW Curriculum  is a unique curriculum for most subjects K-12th, math exculded! The main goal for education is to know God, the main method is discipleship, and the main text is the Bible. This is accomplished by the student  learning how to inductively study (drawing out the truth by using research skills and good resources to answer clearly analytical questions). Because God is the Creator of all living and nonliving things, the goal is to seek  a Biblical view in every subject  by using the Bible as the main text.  The teacher and students will use texts (even graded ones) & resources, as sources, for researching facts and information needed to answer the who, what, when, where, why, how questions for every topic or subject studied. The authors recommended resource list may vary for each SOW volume in some subjects  but these are the basics …

*  SOW Bible (Language Arts) (SOW I-VI)…

*  SOW English (SOW I-VI)…

*  SOW Spelling (SOW I-VI)…

*  SOW Writing (SOW I-VI)…

*  SOW Literature… (SOW I-VI: 6-12th)

Note: Literature resources should alternate between poems, fictional and non fictional books & short stories,  & biographies, which have a strong moral message.

NOTE: The SOW subjects above have step by step lessons each week that correlate with the Bible. The SOW subjects below are alternately studied as unit studies with activities to complete. Though a Biblical view is sought, there was no way to correlate these subjects effectively and thoroughly to the Bible such as electricity in science, middle ages in history, United States in geography, nor the word apple for phonics.

*  SOW Science (SOW I)…
